All fabrics eventually get worn out, especially the more times it is washed and dried. Our care instructions are meant to help keep your scrubs looking their best as long as possible. Please follow the care instructions to get the best life out of your Valmasi scrubs.

Our fabric is composed of 57% Polyester and 43% Graphene polyester

Machine wash, inside out in cold water

No bleach, non-chlorine bleach ok

Iron with low heat if needed

Tumble dry on air only (no heat)

May hang or line dry

Machine wash, inside out in cold water. Washing your clothes inside out protects the fabric from friction from other clothing, this adds to the wear and tear. You want your scrubs to stay looking fresh and new as long as possible. Consider washing all of your clothes inside out to prevent wear and tear. Cold water washing saves on utility costs. When using your washing machine, 75-90% of the energy goes to warming up the water. Clothing is less likely to shrink, fade or wrinkle when washed in cold water. Blood or sweat may get set into the fabric when washed in hot water.

No bleach. No chlorine bleach, this can affect the color of your scrubs. If you want an cleaning boost, only use non-chlorine bleach.

Iron with low heat if needed. Graphene fabric does not wrinkle much, you iron with the lowest amount of heat needed to smooth out the fabric. High heat is not necessary.

Tumble dry on air only (no heat). Adding heat to fabric causes break down and shrinkage. All fabrics have some level of shrinkage when put in a dryer, the hotter the dryer setting, the more shrinkage. Since these scrubs were designed with curvy women in mind, do not do anything that will affect the fit of the scrubs. You want to keep that extra room that adds to the comfort. Air drying will minimize wrinkles.

Hang or line dry. Wash in the evening and hang to dry overnight. They will be dry by the next morning, ready for you to wear for your next shift. This also will save on energy costs!
